Green My School: Project Launch Phase 1

Below is the program tentative.

7.45am	Project Supervisor, and student’s arrival
8.00am	Speech from
	Cik Rashidah, Project Supervisor

8.30am	Giving plants ceremony
9.00am	Planting the plants and measure the initial height.

The launch is PHASE 1 whereby students plant their vegetables and record the initial height. We had some slight changes, whereby the ICT part, (recording the data into our website) will be carried out on 22nd of Oct. The reasons behind was there were some seeds that have not grown yet, and the students are having their final exam next week. We are also delighted to hear that Phase 2 deadline will be extended to 6th Nov 2007, thus giving us more time to take it slow mow.

Again, we can't express more of our thanks and gratitude to our classmates in giving us HUUUGGGEEEE help in this project. Some of them even have class at 8.30am but they came and gave us helping hands! LOVE U GUYS! U GUYS ROCK! Muaks muaks!

There're 6 groups divided according to vegetables and there're one group leader each. Here is Petola and Kacang Botor lead by adik Jamal Afozal b. Abd Malek and adik Nadia Yasmin bt. Rosly

Bendi lead by adik Aliff Dahfin b. Jamal Abd Nasir.

Peria lead by adik Nurul Aina bt Abd Razak, Kacang Buncis lead by adik Kamal Hazim b. Kamal Bahrin, and Kacang Pokok Renek lead by adik Muhammad Dzul Afif b. Ahmad.

Puan Aishah is giving word of advice to those students.

Puan Hapsah: "Tanam baik-baik, jaga sampai besar ye"

We also giving out the gloves for the kids and teachers! In colorful and cute colors!

"YAY, we have our gloves!! Peaceee!!! " Those cute little kids!!

Student A: "Hey, awk dapat color apa?"

Planting time! Each batas will have one type of vegetables. Rafiq is helping Kacang Buncis kids in planting their veges!

After planting the veges, Cikgu Ratna is giving out organic humus fertilizer to the students.

We also prepared each of the students their own name in a stick, to be put in front of their own plants. We believed that it could help them to develop sense of ownership and responsibility in taking care of their own plants.
